These are hydrothermal cobalt quartz, grown in the old Alexandrov lab in Russia before they closed.
This is cobalt quartz, a classic type of lab created crystal. This is a bit outside our usual wheelhouse since we haven't sold quartz before and usually focus on materials grown for science and industry, while this material was grown specifically for the gem trade. But when I saw this material I fell in love with it--normally blue lab quartz is a drab pale blue that I just don't like at all, but this material is vivid, resembling cobalt spinel in its saturation.
