Faceting Dop Wax (Low and High Temperature, Princeton and Covington)

This is dop wax for fixing rough stones to dops.  We have both low temperature wax by Princeton and high temperature wax by Covington.  The princeton sticks are 4 inches long, and the covington sticks are 11 inches and weigh 1/4 pound.

Princeton wax is lower temperature, very sticky and very easy to use.  I use it for almost all of my own cutting, except for on sapphire and moissanite which sometimes heat up during prepolish and polish and can cause shifting.  Note that older orders had black Princeton wax but I have changed over to red to make it easier to distinguish from high temp wax visually.

For cutting sapphire and moissanite I use Covington dop wax.  It isn't quite as easy as Princeton wax but works really well too.
