This is a special rupee pixel cut I designed and am testing out. It is cut in vivid green laser garnet (Vanadium YAG) The stone weighs in at a 10 carats and measures 25.1x19.5mm
I'm a pixel artist and I love retro games (or as we called them when I was a kid, games), so one of my favorite things to cut are rupees. I have tried hybrid pixel-rupee cuts before but doing a classic pixel cut really doesn't let you do a proper rupee crown, so I decided to try a totally different approach which I really like.
